BALI

My Bali holiday

I visited many places and fell in love with everywhere I went but I'll share with you my absolute favourite, it's called Single Fin. Single Fin was about a 30 minute drive from where I was, and to be honest I really couldn't be going because it was about 36 degrees Celsius (96 in Fahrenheit) so I was very hot. But I went with my family and as soon as I got there I loved it so much. The atmosphere the place had made the experience so much better. There was a restaurant which we ate at for lunch, then we wanted to go swimming (the place was on a beach) so one of the Balinese men led us down to the beach and to get to the actual water we had to walk through multiple caves filled with crystals and bats which made the experience more exciting, once we finally go out of the caves it opened up to a magnificent beach which was packed with tourist from all over the world. The water was so beautiful and crystal clear, I swam in it til my hands and feet went wrinkly haha.

One day we went to a sacred bali temple in the forest, when we arrived we got given food to feed to the monkeys which roamed around the whole forest, the monkeys were so so cute I just wanted to take one home. We went to many markets and I got so much stuff as everything was a lot cheaper overthere, we went to a waterapark, restaurants, beaches and lots of shops. Overall the whole trip was so much fun
And I would definitely go back there anyday.
Anyway this is just a little insight to how I spent my school holidays, I hoped you enjoyed reading it!

My $20 outfit

This just my casual winter look for the weekends, I hope you like it!

Okay so the other day me and my friend Izzy (who's blog you can check out here) went down the street to go op shopping and I got 3 new things all for the price of $20.

First item- cord coat
This cord coat was just $5!! And I absolutely love it. It is a chocolate brown colour and has a 70's vibe to it as it is cord which I love. It originally had fur around the hood but I didn't really like it so I simply decided to chop it off, It's just great especially now that it's winter and it's super warm.

Second item- b&w tee
This black and white t-shirt was $3. This is just a simple tee and it's great as it goes with practically anything I wear which is a big plus. This top is great as you can wear it in any season, like in the summer just put it on with some shorts or in winter just wear jeans and a coat with it like I did, this t-shirt just works with anything you decide to wear.

Third item- doc martens
These doc martens would have to be my favourite purchase out of the three. They are a burgundy colour and they are the soft leather version which I prefer.
I have been looking around for a cheep pair of these for awhile now because I am in love with them, and the usual price for these is about $170 so when I finally found these in the op shop I was overwhelmed as the price was only $13!! Now ever since I've got them I haven't taken them off.

Fourth item- black jeans
These black jeans aren't from the op shop, they are from jeans west but I have wore the absolute crap outta them, I have worn them nearly everyday this winter its getting ridiculous!
I just cant take them off though, they are so comfy and I love the zips at the ankles.

I absolutely love op shopping as you can either find designer brands or just random things that you can altar to change it up and make it your own. I think it is really fun and definitely think everyone has try op shopping once in their life.

Pancaking

Sorry everyone but this post isn't about actual pancakes it is about pancaking your braid.

Pancaking your braid is such an easy and simple thing that makes the braid more look softer and prettier, I tend to pancake my braids more often now as I feel that just leaving the braid as it is just gets a bit boring.

Firstly you will need have a Dutch braid for this to work.

To pancake your braid just simply start at the bottom where the elastic is and gently pull/tug the outer edge of the braid on each side, pulling the hair as little or as much as you feel making the braid poof out (the more you pull the bigger the braid will get) . By pancaking the braid it makes the hair have more volume making it look fuller so if you have thin hair this helps if you want to have a more thicker look.

And that's it, its that simple to make your hair look thicker!

That's all for today errryone.. love Zee xx

about me

Hey guys I'm Zoe but you can call me Zee. I'm a 15 year old Australian and this is my first ever blog which I am very excited about.

I first discovered blogging when I was watching YouTube (which I am addicted to) and I noticed that many youtubers actually have blogs as well and ever since I started to read them I have been addicted! I could literally just read blogs all day (and I'm not bluffing) I now consider reading blogs as one of my hobbies haha, I've been wanting to start a blog for awhile now but I just kept hesitating and putting it off it because I was scared of what people would think. But now that I'm over that and have more confidence I've finally gone and done it and I couldn't be happier. I may not be the best writer but by writing this blog I wish to improve over time and I hope you enjoy reading it.

The blogs I have found interest to are mostly fashion blogs along with beauty and lifestyle blogs. Mine will be along the same lines as them.
For my blog some things you will be expecting are: practically anything about fashion, beauty and your daily lifestyle. For fashion I'll be posting things from the latest fashion trends to something I just bought and have fallen in love with. There will be the occasional hairstyle post most likely having something to do with braiding along with makeup posts which I've recently gotten into and let me tell you I am not great but as they say; practise makes perfect :) . I will also have tips & tricks to help you with your daily life.
With my posts I hope they help you out in some way shape or form and put a smile your face.

I will be posting something new every week but I haven't officially decided on an exact day.
So far I've had so much fun setting up my blog and can't wait to start posting. I'm still getting familiar with how to edit everything, I also have to add the links for my social sites and add my own photos (which I'm having trouble with) so if something is looking a little strange that's because I don't know what I'm doing haha

I can't believe I've just written my first blog post, thank you to anyone who read it all ily. If you have any suggestions that I should write a post on or any tips you think will improve my blog feel free to let me know... I don't bite

Love Zee
